Beat Records is once again running their 'Peace
Festival Song Writing Competition' for the 2006 YHA
Peace Festival.
All unsigned bands and solo artists are eligible to
enter the competition that will be judged by Ben
Pattison (Beat Records), Tanya Schroeder (YHA),
and a radio celebrity yet to be confirmed.
The winner will receive FREE STUDIO TIME to
professionally record the winning song with Beat Records
studio engineer Robbie Colvin and Producer Ben
Pattison. Beat Records will consider providing
additional industry support to promote the recording.
The winning entry will be selected based on the
following criteria:

The song must promote Peace,
-
It must be 'radio friendly' (eg. suitable for Triple
J), and
-
The winner agrees to work closely with Beat Records
to promote the song and their act.
