
Jogger Man grew up in Bordertown, finished
shooling in yr 10 and started work at the local
Toyota car yard. over the next five years he
worked his way up from car washer to car parker
to oil changer to sales rep. to Manager, buying
the business in 1971. in that same year he took
on coaching the b grade Bordertown Bashers Footy
club taking them to the grand finals that year
(which they have won each year since). In 1978
as part of off season training Jogger Man and
the Bordertown Bs enterred the Country Cup Fun
Run, it was a surprise to all when jogger Man
won this prestigeous event, but to his credit he
has won this and many other races ever since.
Jogger Man is pleased to lend his time to the
2006 YHA Peace Festival and is quoted as saying
"Look Mate - everything i touch turns to gold
and i am optimistic in lending my voice to World
Peace"
Life Highlights: 1st reserve for the 2000
olyimpic torch relay - coonalpyn to kieth leg,
leading the city to bay fun run in 2004 - first
500 metres (pulled out due to stitch), forming
the peace foundation 'jog 4 world peace' in 2006
